junior high school
Junior high school, often referred to as middle school, typically serves students in grades 6 through 8. It acts as a transition between elementary school and high school, helping students adjust to more advanced subjects and a different social environment.
In junior high, students study a variety of subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies. They also have opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, music, and clubs, which help them develop social skills and interests outside of academics.
