extrasensory perception
Extrasensory perception (ESP) refers to the ability to receive information through means other than the known senses. This includes abilities such as telepathy (mind-to-mind communication), clairvoyance (gaining information about distant or unseen events), and precognition (predicting future events). ESP is often associated with the paranormal and is a topic of interest in psychology and parapsychology.
Despite numerous studies, scientific evidence supporting the existence of ESP remains inconclusive. Critics argue that many claims of ESP can be explained by psychological factors, such as cognitive biases or coincidences. As a result, ESP is often viewed with skepticism within the scientific community.
