end zone
The "end zone" is a specific area at each end of a football field, measuring 10 yards deep. It is where teams aim to score a touchdown by carrying the ball into this zone or catching a pass while in bounds. Each end zone is marked by a goal line, and the area is typically decorated with the team's logo or name.
When a player successfully reaches the end zone, their team earns six points. After scoring, the team has the opportunity to attempt an extra point or a two-point conversion, further contributing to their score in the game.
