India has eight Union Territories, which are regions governed directly by the Central Government. These include Delhi, known for its historical landmarks and political significance, and Puducherry, famous for its French colonial architecture and beaches. Other Union Territories are Chandigarh, a well-planned city, and Ladakh, known for its stunning landscapes and Buddhist culture.
Additionally, Jammu and Kashmir is recognized for its beautiful valleys and rich heritage. Lakshadweep consists of picturesque islands in the Arabian Sea, while Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu are coastal territories with a blend of cultures. Lastly, Andaman and Nicobar Islands are celebrated for their biodiversity and pristine beaches.
