bhikkhus
A bhikkhu is a fully ordained male monk in the Buddhist tradition. They follow a strict code of conduct known as the Vinaya, which includes rules about behavior, dress, and daily practices. Bhikkhus dedicate their lives to spiritual development, meditation, and teaching the principles of Buddhism.
Bhikkhus often live in monastic communities, known as viharas, where they engage in communal activities and support one another in their spiritual journeys. They may also travel to share teachings and provide guidance to laypeople, helping to spread the teachings of the Buddha and promote ethical living.
