Zoroastrian Calendar
The Zoroastrian Calendar is a traditional calendar used by followers of Zoroastrianism, one of the world's oldest religions. It consists of 12 months, each with 30 days, followed by an additional 5 or 6 days known as the "Gatha" days, depending on whether it is a leap year. The calendar is primarily based on the solar year, aligning closely with the seasons.
The year begins on the first day of the month of Farvardin, which usually falls around March 21st in the Gregorian calendar. Each month is dedicated to a specific Zoroastrian deity or concept, reflecting the religion's values and beliefs.
