Farvardin
Farvardin is the first month of the Persian calendar, which is used in Iran and some other regions. It typically corresponds to March and April in the Gregorian calendar. The month is named after the Faravahar, a symbol representing the concept of the soul and the divine spirit in Zoroastrianism.
During Farvardin, the Persian New Year, known as Nowruz, is celebrated. This festival marks the arrival of spring and symbolizes renewal and rebirth. People engage in various traditions, such as cleaning their homes, visiting family, and preparing special meals to welcome the new year.
