Zojoji Temple
Zojoji Temple is a historic Buddhist temple located in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 1393, it serves as the main temple of the Jodo sect of Japanese Buddhism. The temple is known for its beautiful architecture, including the impressive main hall, or Hondo, which was rebuilt after World War II.
The temple grounds also feature the iconic Tokyo Tower nearby and a peaceful cemetery that houses the graves of many notable figures, including Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate.
