Zimbabwe National Army
The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) is the military force of Zimbabwe, responsible for land-based military operations. Established in 1980 after the country's independence, the ZNA has a primary mission to defend the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It is composed of various units, including infantry, artillery, and armored divisions.
The ZNA is overseen by the Ministry of Defence and operates under the command of the Commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces. The army has participated in various peacekeeping missions across Africa and has been involved in internal security operations within Zimbabwe.
