Zhinü is a character from Chinese mythology, often referred to as the "Weaving Maiden." She is known for her exceptional skills in weaving beautiful fabrics and is associated with the stars. Zhinü is typically depicted as a celestial figure who resides in the Heavenly River, which is identified with the Milky Way. In the legend, Zhinü falls in love with a mortal named Niulang, a cowherd. Their love story is celebrated during the Qixi Festival, also known as the Chinese Valentine's Day, where it is said that they are allowed to reunite once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month.
