Zewditu
Zewditu was the first female emperor of Ethiopia, reigning from 1916 to 1930. She was born in 1876 and was the daughter of Menelik II, a prominent emperor known for modernizing the country. Zewditu's rule was marked by a struggle for power, particularly with her cousin, Haile Selassie, who later became a significant figure in Ethiopian history.
During her reign, Zewditu faced challenges from various factions within the government and military. Despite her efforts to maintain authority, her reign ended when she was deposed by Haile Selassie, who then took over the throne.
