Zettelkasten
Zettelkasten is a note-taking method developed by German sociologist Niklas Luhmann. It involves creating a system of interconnected notes, or "slips" (zettel), that allows for easy retrieval and linking of ideas. Each note contains a single idea or concept, which is then connected to other related notes, forming a web of knowledge.
This method enhances understanding and creativity by encouraging users to explore relationships between different concepts. By organizing thoughts in this way, individuals can develop a deeper comprehension of complex topics and generate new insights through the connections they make within their Zettelkasten.
