Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a historically African American sorority founded on January 16, 1920, at Howard University in Washington, D.C. It was established by five visionary women: Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Fannie Pettie Watts, Lillie Burke, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, and Viola Tyler Goings. The organization promotes scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.
As a member of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Zeta Phi Beta is dedicated to community service and social action. The sorority's official colors are royal blue and white, and its symbol is the dove. Zeta Phi Beta also emphasizes the importance of education and empowerment for women.
