Zeta Phi Beta
Zeta Phi Beta is a historically African American sorority founded on January 16, 1920, at Howard University in Washington, D.C. It was established by five visionary women: Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Pearl Anna Neal, Fannie Pettie Watts, Lavinia Norman, and Myrtle Tyler Faithful. The organization promotes scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.
The sorority is a member of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and is known for its commitment to community service and social action. Its official colors are royal blue and white, and its symbol is the dove, representing peace and harmony.
