Zander
Zander is a type of freshwater fish belonging to the Percidae family, which also includes perch. It is commonly found in rivers and lakes across Europe and parts of Asia. Zander are known for their elongated bodies, sharp teeth, and distinctive dark stripes along their sides. They are popular among anglers due to their fighting ability and are often sought after for sport fishing.
Zander typically grow to a length of about 60 centimeters (24 inches) and can weigh up to 10 kilograms (22 pounds). They are carnivorous, primarily feeding on smaller fish like roach and perch. Zander are also known for their excellent night vision, making them effective predators in low-light conditions.
