Zalgiris Kaunas is a professional basketball team based in Kaunas, Lithuania. Founded in 1944, the team is one of the most successful in Lithuanian basketball history, having won numerous national championships and cups. They compete in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and are also a regular participant in European competitions, including the EuroLeague. The team's home games are played at the Žalgiris Arena, which has a capacity of around 15,000 spectators.
