Zacapa Rum
Zacapa Rum is a premium rum produced in Guatemala, known for its rich flavor and smooth finish. It is made from sugarcane honey, which is the syrup extracted from the sugarcane, rather than molasses. The rum is aged in a unique solera system, where younger rums are blended with older ones, resulting in a complex and well-rounded spirit.
The aging process takes place at high altitudes, around 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level, which contributes to its distinctive taste. Zacapa Rum is often enjoyed neat or in cocktails, making it a popular choice among rum enthusiasts worldwide.
