Z5 computer
The Z5 computer was an early electromechanical computer designed by German engineer Konrad Zuse in 1941. It was notable for being the world's first programmable computer, using a binary system for calculations. The Z5 utilized relays for its operations and could perform basic arithmetic functions, making it a significant advancement in computing technology.
Although the Z5 was not widely used and was eventually destroyed during World War II, it laid the groundwork for future developments in computing. Zuse's work, including the earlier Z3 computer, contributed to the evolution of modern computers and programming concepts.
