Yves du Manoir
Yves du Manoir was a French rugby union player born on December 15, 1904, in Paris. He is best known for his role as a fly-half and for being a key figure in the early development of rugby in France. Du Manoir played for the French national team and participated in the inaugural Five Nations Championship in 1910.
Tragically, his life was cut short when he died in a plane crash during World War II on June 15, 1943. Du Manoir is remembered not only for his athletic talent but also for his contributions to the sport, inspiring future generations of rugby players in France.
