Yugoslavian national team
The Yugoslavian national team was the national football team representing the former Yugoslavia. It was established in 1921 and competed in various international tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA European Championship. The team was known for its skilled players and strong performances, reaching the semifinals in the 1982 World Cup and finishing as runners-up in the 1960 European Championship.
Following the breakup of Yugoslavia in the early 1990s, the national team was dissolved. Successor states, including Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, formed their own national teams, continuing the legacy of Yugoslav football in different forms.
