Yoshihide Suga
Yoshihide Suga is a Japanese politician who served as the Prime Minister of Japan from September 2020 to October 2021. He succeeded Shinzo Abe and was a member of the Liberal Democratic Party. Before becoming Prime Minister, Suga held various government positions, including Chief Cabinet Secretary, where he was known for his effective communication and crisis management.
Suga was born on December 6, 1948, in Akita Prefecture, Japan. He has a background in law and graduated from Hitotsubashi University. During his tenure, he focused on digital transformation, economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and promoting tourism in Japan.
