Yellow-footed Rock-wallaby
The Yellow-footed Rock-wallaby is a small marsupial native to the rocky outcrops and cliffs of eastern and central Australia. It is characterized by its distinctive yellow feet and tail, which help it blend into its natural habitat. This species primarily feeds on grasses, leaves, and fruits, and is known for its agile climbing abilities.
These wallabies are social animals, often found in groups called mobs. They are most active during the early morning and late afternoon, avoiding the heat of the day. Conservation efforts are in place to protect their populations, as they face threats from habitat loss and predation by introduced species like foxes and cats.
