Yagba language
Yagba language is a member of the Niger-Congo language family, primarily spoken in Nigeria. It is predominantly used by the Yagba people, who reside in the Kogi State region. The language is part of the Gur branch of the Benue-Congo languages and has several dialects.
Yagba is an important aspect of the cultural identity of its speakers. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote the language, especially among younger generations, as globalization and urbanization pose challenges to its continued use.
