XIII Corps
The XIII Corps was a formation of the British Army that played a significant role during both World Wars. Established in 1940, it was primarily involved in the North African Campaign and later participated in the Italian Campaign, contributing to key battles such as the Battle of Monte Cassino.
In World War I, the XIII Corps was also active, participating in various engagements on the Western Front. Its structure typically included infantry, artillery, and support units, allowing it to operate effectively in diverse combat situations. The corps was disbanded after the conclusion of the conflicts, marking the end of its operational history.
