Wulfenite
Wulfenite is a mineral composed of lead molybdate, with the chemical formula PbMoO4. It typically forms in a bright orange to yellow color, although it can also appear in shades of brown or green. Wulfenite is often found in the oxidized zones of lead deposits and is prized by mineral collectors for its unique crystal shapes and vibrant colors.
This mineral crystallizes in the tetragonal system, resulting in flat, tabular crystals that can be quite striking. Wulfenite is commonly associated with other minerals such as Molybdenite and Galena, and it is primarily mined in locations like Mexico and Morocco.
