Writers' Guild of America
The Writers' Guild of America (WGA) is a labor union representing writers in the film, television, and digital media industries in the United States. It advocates for the rights and interests of its members, negotiating contracts and ensuring fair compensation and working conditions.
The WGA is divided into two main branches: the Writers Guild of America, East and the Writers Guild of America, West. Both branches work to support writers through various initiatives, including providing resources, organizing events, and offering legal assistance to help protect their creative work and intellectual property.
