Wrasse
Wrasse are a diverse family of marine fish known as Labridae, found in oceans worldwide, particularly in coral reefs. They are characterized by their elongated bodies, vibrant colors, and thick lips. Wrasse play a crucial role in their ecosystems, often feeding on small invertebrates and helping to maintain the health of coral reefs.
Many species of wrasse exhibit interesting behaviors, such as cleaning other fish by removing parasites and dead skin. Some well-known species include the Cleaner Wrasse, which is famous for its cleaning habits, and the Parrotfish, which is closely related and known for its beak-like teeth.
