Wort Brewing
Wort brewing is the process of creating a sugary liquid called wort, which is the foundation for making beer. This process begins by mashing grains, typically barley, with hot water to extract sugars. The mixture is then boiled, and hops are added for flavor and aroma.
After boiling, the wort is cooled and transferred to a fermentation vessel. Yeast is added to the cooled wort, where it consumes the sugars and produces alcohol and carbon dioxide. This fermentation process can take several days to weeks, resulting in the final product: beer.
