Worm
A worm is a long, slender, soft-bodied invertebrate that belongs to various groups within the animal kingdom. They are commonly found in soil, freshwater, and marine environments. Worms play a crucial role in ecosystems by breaking down organic matter and enriching the soil, which helps plants grow. Some well-known types of worms include earthworms, tapeworms, and roundworms.
Worms have simple body structures, typically consisting of a head, segmented body, and a tail. They lack bones and have no specialized respiratory or circulatory systems. Instead, they absorb oxygen through their skin and rely on a moist environment to survive. Worms reproduce in various ways, with some laying eggs and others being hermaphroditic, possessing both male and female reproductive organs
