World Youth Day
World Youth Day is a global event organized by the Catholic Church for young people. It was initiated by Pope John Paul II in 1985 to encourage youth to engage in their faith and connect with others. The event typically includes prayer, workshops, and cultural activities, fostering a sense of community among participants from various countries.
Held every two to three years, World Youth Day culminates in a large gathering with the Pope, where thousands of young people come together for a vigil and a closing Mass. The event aims to inspire and empower youth to live out their faith in their daily lives.
