Workers' Party of Spain
The Workers' Party of Spain (Partido de los Trabajadores de España, PTE) is a political party founded in 1976. It emerged during Spain's transition to democracy after the end of the Franco regime. The party aimed to represent the interests of the working class and promote socialist principles.
The PTE was part of the broader leftist movement in Spain, advocating for workers' rights and social justice. Although it gained some influence in the late 1970s, the party struggled to maintain a significant presence in Spanish politics and eventually dissolved in the early 1990s.
