Wing Luke
Wing Luke was a prominent Chinese American politician and civil rights leader in the United States. Born on April 1, 1925, in Seattle, Washington, he became the first Asian American elected to the Seattle City Council in 1962. Luke was known for advocating for the rights of Asian Americans and other minority groups.
In addition to his political career, Wing Luke was a successful businessman and community organizer.
