Windows 98
Windows 98 is an operating system developed by Microsoft and released in June 1998. It was designed to improve user experience with a more intuitive interface and better hardware support compared to its predecessor, Windows 95. Key features included the introduction of the Quick Launch toolbar and improved Internet Explorer integration.
The system also supported USB devices, making it easier to connect peripherals like printers and scanners. Windows 98 was widely used in homes and businesses until it was succeeded by Windows 2000 and Windows ME. Its legacy continues to influence modern operating systems.
