William McArthur
William McArthur is an American astronaut and retired United States Army officer. He was born on January 4, 1951, in Burbank, California. McArthur flew on two space shuttle missions, including STS-58 in 1993 and STS-77 in 1996, contributing to various scientific experiments and research in space.
In addition to his shuttle missions, McArthur served as a commander on the International Space Station (ISS) during Expedition 12 in 2005. His extensive experience in space and contributions to human spaceflight have made him a notable figure in the field of aerospace exploration.
