William Gaston
William Gaston was an American politician and lawyer born on September 19, 1788, in New Bern, North Carolina. He served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1843 to 1845, representing the state of North Carolina. Gaston was known for his strong advocacy for education and internal improvements, contributing to the development of the region.
