Whiteflies
Whiteflies are small, winged insects that belong to the family Aleyrodidae. They are typically found on the undersides of leaves and can be recognized by their white, powdery appearance. Whiteflies feed on plant sap, which can weaken plants and lead to yellowing leaves and stunted growth.
These pests can also produce a sticky substance called honeydew, which attracts other insects and can lead to the growth of sooty mold. Whiteflies are common in gardens and greenhouses, and managing their populations often involves natural predators, insecticidal soaps, or other pest control methods.
