Weton
Weton is a traditional calendar system used by the Javanese people in Indonesia. It is based on a five-day cycle known as Pancawara and a seven-day cycle called Saptawara, creating a unique combination of 35 days. Each day has its own significance and is associated with specific activities, rituals, and beliefs.
In Javanese culture, Weton is often used to determine auspicious dates for events such as weddings and other important ceremonies. People also believe that an individual's Weton can influence their personality and destiny, making it an integral part of cultural identity and practices in the region.
