Wet Docking
Wet docking is a method used to repair or maintain ships while they remain in the water. This process involves bringing the vessel into a designated area, often called a wet dock, where it can be accessed for various services without needing to be lifted out of the water.
During wet docking, workers can perform tasks such as cleaning the hull, inspecting underwater components, and making minor repairs. This method is particularly useful for smaller vessels or in situations where dry docking is not feasible, allowing for efficient maintenance while minimizing downtime for the ship.
