Welsh Education
Welsh education is governed by the Welsh Government and focuses on providing a comprehensive curriculum for students in Wales. The education system includes primary and secondary schools, with an emphasis on the Welsh language and culture. Students typically start their education at age 3 and continue until they are 16, when they take the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) exams.
In recent years, there has been a push for a more inclusive and innovative approach to learning, including the introduction of the Curriculum for Wales. This new curriculum aims to foster critical thinking and creativity, preparing students for a rapidly changing world while promoting the use of the Welsh language.
