Waterloo Bridge
Waterloo Bridge is a road and footbridge spanning the River Thames in London, England. It connects the South Bank to the City of Westminster and is known for its stunning views of the river and surrounding landmarks. The bridge was originally completed in 1817 and has undergone several reconstructions since then.
The current structure, completed in 1945, is made of reinforced concrete and features a simple, elegant design. Waterloo Bridge is often referred to as the "Ladies' Bridge" because many of the workers who built it were women during World War II. It remains a vital transportation link and a popular spot for tourists.
