Water Birth
Water birth is a method of delivering a baby in a pool or tub filled with warm water. This approach is believed to provide a more soothing and comfortable environment for both the mother and the baby during labor. The buoyancy of the water can help reduce pain and promote relaxation.
During a water birth, the mother can choose to labor in the water and may also deliver the baby underwater. After the baby is born, they are gently brought to the surface to breathe. This method is often used in midwifery practices and can be part of a home birth or in a hospital setting.
