Wat Tyler
Wat Tyler was a key figure in the Peasants' Revolt of 1381 in England. He emerged as a leader of the uprising, which was driven by widespread discontent over high taxes and social inequality. The revolt saw thousands of peasants march to London, demanding reforms and the end of serfdom.
During the revolt, Tyler and his followers confronted the ruling class, including King Richard II. The movement initially gained some concessions, but it ultimately ended in violence. Tyler was killed during a confrontation with the authorities, and the revolt was suppressed, leading to a return to the status quo.
