Warts
Warts are small, rough growths on the skin caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They can appear anywhere on the body but are most commonly found on the hands, feet, and face. Warts are generally harmless and can vary in size and shape. They are contagious and can spread through direct contact or by touching surfaces contaminated with the virus.
There are several types of warts, including common warts, plantar warts, and flat warts. Treatment options include over-the-counter medications, cryotherapy, and laser therapy. While warts often resolve on their own, some people may choose to seek treatment for cosmetic reasons or discomfort.
