Warrap
Warrap is a state located in the north-central region of South Sudan. It is bordered by the states of Northern Bahr el Ghazal to the west, Unity to the east, and Lakes to the south. The capital of Warrap is Kuajok, which serves as the administrative and economic center of the state. The region is primarily inhabited by the Dinka ethnic group, known for their pastoral lifestyle and cattle herding traditions.
The economy of Warrap is largely based on agriculture and livestock. The fertile land supports the cultivation of crops such as sorghum and millet, while cattle farming remains a significant part of the local culture and economy. Despite its resources, Warrap faces challenges such as limited infrastructure and access to basic services, impacting the overall development of the state.
