Wari
Wari is an ancient civilization that thrived in the Andean region of South America, particularly in what is now Peru, from around 600 to 1100 AD. Known for its advanced urban planning, the Wari people built large cities with complex road systems, agricultural terraces, and impressive stone architecture. Their society was highly organized, with a centralized government that managed resources and trade.
The Wari civilization is often credited with influencing later cultures, including the Inca. They developed techniques in agriculture, pottery, and textiles, which contributed to the region's cultural heritage. The decline of the Wari around the 12th century remains a topic of research, with theories suggesting environmental changes and social upheaval.
