War in Bosnia
The War in Bosnia occurred from 1992 to 1995, following the breakup of Yugoslavia. It involved three main ethnic groups: Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats. The conflict was marked by territorial disputes and ethnic tensions, leading to widespread violence and atrocities, including the infamous Srebrenica massacre.
The war ended with the signing of the Dayton Agreement in December 1995, which established a framework for peace and the division of Bosnia and Herzegovina into two entities: the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republika Srpska. The conflict resulted in significant loss of life and displacement of people.
