Wang Yaping
Wang Yaping is a Chinese astronaut and the second woman from China to travel to space. She was born on October 27, 1980, in Yantai, Shandong Province. Wang graduated from the People's Liberation Army Air Force and became a fighter pilot before joining the Chinese space program.
In 2013, Wang participated in the Shenzhou 10 mission, where she conducted experiments and delivered a live lesson to students on Earth. In 2021, she flew on the Shenzhou 13 mission, spending 183 days aboard the Tiangong space station, contributing to China's efforts in space exploration and research.
