Shenzhou Program
The Shenzhou Program is a series of crewed space missions developed by China as part of its human spaceflight initiative. Launched in 1999, the program aims to advance space exploration and technology, enabling astronauts to conduct scientific research and experiments in low Earth orbit. The Shenzhou spacecraft is designed to transport astronauts to and from the Tiangong space station.
The program has successfully completed multiple missions, with Shenzhou 5 marking China's first manned spaceflight in 2003. Subsequent missions have contributed to the construction and operation of the Tiangong space station, showcasing China's growing capabilities in space exploration and international collaboration.
