Wadi El Rayan
Wadi El Rayan is a beautiful natural reserve located in Egypt, about 65 kilometers southwest of Fayoum. It is known for its stunning landscapes, including two large lakes formed by the flow of water from the Qattara Depression. The area is rich in wildlife, making it a popular spot for birdwatching and photography.
The reserve covers an area of approximately 1,500 square kilometers and features unique geological formations, including sand dunes and cliffs. Wadi El Rayan is also home to several waterfalls, which are the only waterfalls in Egypt. This makes it a significant ecological and tourist destination.
