Vytautas The Great
Vytautas The Great was a prominent leader of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania during the late 14th and early 15th centuries. He ruled from 1392 to 1430 and is known for his efforts to expand and strengthen the duchy, making it one of the largest countries in Europe at the time. Vytautas played a crucial role in the Battle of Grunwald in 1410, where Lithuanian and Polish forces defeated the Teutonic Knights.
